XR1000 - stand-alone, pre-configured, out-of-the-box Asterisk IP PBX. The XR1000 is an Asterisk based small business VoIP PBX system supporting various combinations of telephony ports. The device supports up to 16 analog phone ports, up to 8 BRI ports, up to 50 users and up to 5 concurrent calls.

SMB IP-PBX - XR2000 - Up to 300 users

The XR2000 is a Asterisk IP PBX system supporting various combinations of telephony ports. The stand-alone XR2000 base unit may be equipped with up to 32 analog FXS/FXO ports, up to 8 BRI ports, and 1 E1/T1 PRI, 1 T1 CAS, or 1 E1 R2 port in a single, 19" 2U chassis. Additional PSTN / Analog phone ports can be provided by connecting external Astribank units via the USB2 ports, for a total of up to 160 PSTN / Analog phones ports, up to 300 users and up to 60 concurrent calls.

Enterprise IP-PBX - XR3000 - Up to 1000 user

The XR3000 is a Asterisk IP PBX system supporting various combinations of telephony ports. The stand-alone XR3000 base unit may be equipped with up to 32 analog FXS/FXO ports and up to 4 E1/T1 PRI, 4 T1 CAS, or 4 E1 R2 ports in a single, 19" 2U chassis. Additional PSTN/analog phone ports can be provided by connecting external Astribank units via the USB2 ports, for a total of up to 672 PSTN/analog phones ports, up to 1000 users and up to 300 concurrent calls.

TwinStar Server Redundancy - TS2000/TS3000

Award-winning solution providing rapid failover for entire Asterisk-based PBX

The TwinStar configuration (P/N TS2000 or TS3000) is a bundled product, comprised of two module-less servers, based on the Xorcom XE series IP-PBX, that have been optimized for use as a failover system.

Sample TwinStar Redundant Server Configuration

Two identical Xorcom XE series servers, both connected via USB 2.0 to an Astribank. The Astribank firmware continually replicates the server data in real time, performs failure checks, and switches all telephony control to the backup server, if necessary.

TwinStar System Description

TwinStar provides full redundancy for a complete PBX system, including telephony interfaces. A sophisticated automatic replication and detection mechanism located in the Astribank detects server failure and switches all telephony to the backup server, keeping downtime to an absolute minimum. The firmware-based switching mechanism is not network-dependent.

How to Determine which TwinStar Redundant Server Configuration for Your Implementation

The servers used in the TwinStar configuration are either the XE2000 or the XE3000. The former meets the requirements of smaller installations, supporting up to 200 users and 45 concurrent calls. The latter is more robust, supporting up to 1000 users and 480 concurrent calls. To complete the configuration, select the relevant Astribank model(s) based on the telephony interface requirement (the number of analog and digital ports and trunks to be supported). The easiest way to determine the configuration is by using the PBX Configuration Wizard.
